My Quote / About Me: Running is a metaphor for life. Every time I run I am pushed and tested. I approach another hill. Will I give up or climb? Will I go just one more mile? Will I push through the pain? When every bone and muscle in my body is screaming, “Quit!”, will I ignore their cries and finish what I have started? When my burning lungs are straining for just a little more oxygen, will I stop and catch my breath or deal with the torture? For me, running has become a symbol of guts, determination, and character. Running translates into life. There are times when I am tempted to give up or quit something I have started. Will I have the fiber to break through the wall that stands in my way? I remind myself, “If I can run up those hills, enduring the pain, I can get through this.” There have been many days on the trail when I have been sick, wanted to quit, or had an off day. Those are the days I relish because if I can complete my run when I am at my worst, I know I can get through anything.

Even youths will become exhausted, and young men will give up. But those who wait on the LORD will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:30-31)

What is it called if you carry two people?  I'm pretty sure I'm just crewing for you while we run together.  Have I told you I've been working out and my forearms are pretty well defined.  Should come in handy.  Oh yeah, and bring some coffee.

I believe the technical definition of muling includes carrying. You'll just have to wait until after 8:00 PM.
