RACE DATE: The weekend of January 16th 2015

 

What:
This is the ULTIMATE challenge. The Death Race is designed to present you with the totally unexpected, the totally insane, and take you out of your comfort zone. This race is a 48+ hour event that is created to break you physically, mentally, and emotionally. All of you will enter, 90% of you won’t finish. Only consider this race if you have lived a full life to date.

When:
Come to Pittsfield and be prepared. Rumor has it you’ll want to show up early. Don’t plan on leaving for a couple days…actually, plan on checking out early. This race will break you.

Lodging:
Amee Farm, Trailside Lodge, Swiss Farm. Camping is available at many state parks in the area that offer camping and lots of smaller motels and B & B’s as well.

Rules:
Don’t cut the course. Don’t litter.

Weather:
It’s Vermont in February.  Please watch the weather leading up to the race and plan accordingly.  Expect cold temps.

Food:
You are expected to bring any food you hope enjoy for the weekend. Keeping track of this food is your responsibility.

DROP BAGS:
We will have a tent set up and you can leave bags with food and clothes at the start/finish.

PARKING:
We have parking at the Amee Farm Lodge on route 100.  There will be Event Parking signs and a designated parking area.  Please park in designated areas.  You may be towed if you are parked illegally.

Awards:
Awards will be presented to those that finish. We don’t plan on handing out too much.
Directions:
Pittsfield is on route 100 North of Killington.
