Aside from pics of Taylor Phinney, I expected most of my photos to go into my archives for future use. (Little did I know...) Team USA's objectives were primarily to win the prologue with Phinney and to ride in support of Andrew Talansky for the overall. Well, Phinney won the prologue and the team provided magnificent support for Talansky who finished second overall. The team then returned to the U.S. for the national championships in Greenville, SC where Phinney won the title in the time trial and Benjamin King took a stunning victory in the road race. Phinney, King and Talansky (pics below) are the 3 Team USA riders entered in the Under-23 Time Trial. All 3 are also entered in Friday's U23 Road Race. -Pete
