After the great success of the Forrest Mountain Bike and Cycling Club had with its six hour enduro event last year, the 2010 event is set to be equally as popular.
The planning has been done and the rider numbers have rapidly expanded towards filling out the expected 350 rider event
The race which will be held on Sunday June the 6th will attract riders ranging from the elite through to the beginner, riding bikes which will range from multi thousand dollar beasts through to perhaps, old time favourites which may be only dusted of for a ride a couple of times a year.
The instant popularity of the event has been a great boost for the club. It also proves how well the Forrest trails and the Forrest community are regarded amongst the mountain biking fraternity.
Some of last year’s sponsors are again on board along with some new ones which will enable the club to deliver to some of the major categories some pretty impressive cash winnings and some wonderful prizes in the other categories.,
Once again there will be a range of food vendors on site ranging from the Forrest lions club to the local coffee vendor providing warm meals and coffee, which will most certainly be a hit with the competitors, supporters and spectators.
