And they’re back. Australia’s only 24 Hour Road Race, The Ballarat 24 Hour, has been rescheduled to the 29th January 2011. So if you love to ride it long time and can go it alone then this event is for you. With time trial rules eg: no drafting, I’m betting that the witching hours will get mighty lonely... Held on a 18km closed road course around Ballarat in country Victoria you can enter solo or in a team of up to 6.  Check out www.700cproductions.com for entry details.

Wannaride North vs South Race 2 Race 1 of the Wannaride North vs South Race series was a cracker at Appin! The event was dominated by the teams from the South, winning 21 out of 27 podium spots.  Race 2 proves to be even better with Wannaride moving the ever popular 4th Annual Spring Fat Tyre Festival to the new and improved track at Awaba up near Newcastle.  The extremely fast and flowing singletrack of Awaba is perfectly suited to all riders and will be an amazing host venue for 8 1/4 hours of cross country excitement.  Come on out and join us on Sunday, November 28th for a day of racing, music, food, and fun.  As with previous events a free pre-race coffee is on offer, as well as a cold beer after your last lap.  Over $20,000 of prizes is up for grabs, but the main prize on offer to each rider is the amazing track and the social laid back atmosphere of all Wannaride events.  Come on North, time to make a comeback and show your stuff.  Come on all you Southern brothers and sisters, time to put the nail in the coffin.  Hope to see you there!!!  Click here for more details > www.wannaride.com.au
