Tasmania's only 24 Hour mountain bike race, the Kellevie 24 is back for 2010 on the 27/28th March 2010. Entries are due to open mid December and with $1,500 prize money for the first solo male and female competitor theres some big money up for grabs. As always you can enter the 12 hour or the 24 hour and solo or in a team. The 2010 event is also an official qualifying event for the 2010 World Solo 24 Hour Championships to be held in Canberra in October 2010. Check out all the information on the World Solo Champs here.

The Terra Australis - Great Southern Land Mountain Bike Epic will run from Sunday 21st March 2010 through to Saturday 27th March 2010. The event will travel from Falls Creek to Wangaratta with 7 gruelling stages to test the riders. Breaking away from other Australian epics you can either enter as a team of two or three with all teammates riding the stages together. Being held in the Victorian Alpine and High Country this looks like a tough one and one to start training for now.
