2010-01-03 07:23 Johnny Warren Cycle Jam Dec 11, 2009 View URL

Image
The Johnny Warren Cycle Jamberoo Classic is a fun charity road bike ride from Southern Sydney to Jamberoo near Kiama on the South Coast. Raising money for the Sydney Cancer Institute the ride starts in Sutherland in the Southern suburbs of Sydney and decends into the Royal National Park. Riders then follow the coast road over the Sea Cliff Bridge into Wollongong before heading out to Jamberoo. Having riden this ride several years ago it is a great charity road ride of about 100km's and has a real bunch ride feel of about 500 riders rather than the 10,000 of the recent Sydney to Gong Ride. Entries are $45 however if you get in before the 15th November 2009. Grab your road bike and get some great base km's in your legs.
