Real Name: Tyler Harrington
Birthday: Aug 10, 1989
About Me: I'm 18 years old and I live in Pekin, IL. I joined the swim team my junior year in high school and my coach pretty much inspired me to begin endurance sports, so I've only been on the scene for about two years. I've just started out with a couple of triathlons here and there but im looking to go longer this summer. After I completed the McNaughton Park 50 mile trail run, I have decided that the longer the event the better. I'm really looking forward to trying ironman triathlon and other long ultra runs.
I also have a passion for road biking. There's really nothing better than a long ride at about 5am on a sunday morning. The roads are quiet and the sun is just beginning to rise on the horizon.
Motivation: I look up to other athletes for motivation.
-Lance Armstrong, David Goggins, Marshall Ulrich, Coach Weinberg, Anton Krupicka, my family
However, i have to say my main source of motivation is the desire to be better than others.. Especially my peers.
Goals: Next season I hope to do a several triathlons. I'm going to do the mcnaughton 50 mile run and also a couple half IMs and maybe even a full IM.. I'll also do a couple of little local triathlons.
-Mcnaugton 50 miles, Pekin, IL
-Rockman Half IM, Loves Park, IL
-Dragon Triathlon, Pekin, IL
-Iowa Pigman Half IM
-Boulder Peak Triathlon, Boulder, Co.
For next year, The McNaughton Park 150 mile race

those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can
do less than they ought, unless they do all they can."
"Tough times don't last, but tough people do."
Workout Routines / Fitness Tips: If you have trouble with motivation, vary your workouts. Sitting on a bike trainer or swimming alone in a pool everyday can get very old.. Do something weird and exciting chances are that it will be beneficial.
