About Me: I'm attending Castleton State College, i am playing Field Hockey and I major in business marketing. I never really was into running or races until I met Joe. Than we started going on daily hikes which were suppose to take an hour or two and ended up to be the whole day. Than from there we started training and the races just followed.

Defining Moments: Junior year in high school we had back to back games with our Field Hockey Rivals Hartford high School. We hosted the first game and won on our home field. A couple days later we went up to Hartford for our second game. On the ride up our coach was having meetings with everyone individually to see how we stand. I expressed to her on how I never scored a goal before in my field hockey carree and how I usually play mid-field. She had me as a starting defender the whole season. The game is tied 0-0 and there was only a couple of minutes on the clock, we needed to either hold them or score to win. The battle continued and we ended up tying 0-0...this meant sudden death over time. Where only 7 players play at a time on each team rather than 11. Suprisingly my coach put my in as a midfielder. Over time started and Hartford got the ball down the field within the first mintue. We held them off and got the ball. Sent it down the field and it looked like we would have it. A girl on my team took a shot and the ball hit the goalies pads, I recieved the rebound and put the ball into the goal. I scored the game winning goal in sudden death overtime against our rivals! I picked a hell of a time to score my first goal. Its one of those moments that define me......
