Rest and Recovery
A lot of rest and recovery leading up to next weekends Vapor Trail 125 . The Vapor Trail goes down in my book and the 2 greatest event I do all year.  The Colorado Trail Race takes the top spot....then the Vapor Trail....then the Breck-Epic Stage Race.  Yes, the Vapor Trail is 125 miles....and a very hard 125 miles at that.  Throw in 20,000 ft of climbing and you have a very solid night and day on the bike. Today was a drill-n-chill singlespeed session.  Mucho respect to those that ride...

Rocky Mountain MUni (with awesome cable cam!) Aug 30, 2010

Just shot this earlier today at Hummingbird trail in Simi Valley. Since there are no trees at this trail, I recruited two really cool people to help me set up some shots for my "Uni-Cable-Cam". (about a 1:30 in)

We rigged it so that each person could hold one end of the line very solidly, and it worked out surprisingly good. They even let me hook up their GoPro HD for a few shots...I MUST get one of those. The HD quality is amazing and cyrstal clear.

Hope you enjoy and drop a comment if the mood strikes you.

A downhill run taken from the top right hand corner (near the Vineyard) of the Majura Pines tracks. Becuase Stromlo has been a bit wet and boggy with all the recent rain, it was time to take a break from that area. So I decided to hit Majura as I hadnt been out there for a while. Despite this area also having a few wet and boggy sections it was mild compared to Stromlo.
