Product

It’s an amazing experience for us to see how the products that we create from scratch evolve throughout their lifetime and continue to reach more and more users all around the world. Shaping each product requires focus, dedication and a great team. As a team, we work closely together with developers and artists to realize our ideas. In our planning meetings we discuss the next steps of our product, plan our bi-weekly sprints and collectively decide about the next steps and features of our product. For example, in each 2-week-long sprint, our studio team develops a whole episode of new levels for tens of thousands of users who are waiting in anticipation. Sounds like fun? It is.

We work in a highly analytical manner. Before any global launch, we conduct multiple AB tests with different user groups to gather a bundle of data. Crunching this data allows us to take the right decision about how to move forward.

Marketing

Everyday we reach hundreds of millions of users with our products. Engaging with all those people is not easy. But who wants easy? We use a highly analytical approach to show users the right content on the right channel at the right time. We manage our marketing activities and make decisions purely according to data and results of extensive AB tests. Since we are reaching millions of users every day, we are able to collect data, perform complex analysis and crunch numbers very quickly.

We’re always seeking new methods of reaching people: we created the first-ever performance marketing campaign with a celebrity. These videos were watched by more than 100m unique users only in the US - which is more than 30% of the US population – with total views exceeding 600m.

Big Data & Data Science

We collect and process several terabytes of behavioral data a day so we can optimize and improve the user experience. Our Big Data & Data Science Teams work hand in hand to achieve this mission.

In the Big Data Team, we are building large distributed systems that are the heart of our data architecture that serves billions of requests a day. Our tech stack is built on top of open source and cloud-based technologies that drive batch and real-time processing. Our rapidly increasing user base brings up unique data and scalability challenges that are fun to get to grips with. This also drives us to be very experimental and to build what hasn’t been tried before.

At this stage, we create data models and crunch our data down to bite-sized, easily digestible data layers to turn this enormous volume into meaningful insights, along with heavily customizable dashboards where our teams can break the data down in the way they prefer. We use statistical techniques and machine learning to uncover hidden patterns and make accurate predictions to gain a deeper understanding of the data.

Cloud Platform

Products that are used by 400+ millions of users require scalable and highly available systems. In Cloud Platform Team, we strive to deliver a great product experience so that our users can enjoy our products anywhere and anytime they want. We keep ourselves up to date regarding the latest DevOps techs and constantly discuss which solutions fit our needs best.

As our user base rapidly grows we have the chance to work with data at an incredible scale. This gives the team the unique opportunity to work on edge cases and try unique scenarios to be able to react fast when needed. We are a tight-knit team in charge of Peak’s entire infrastructure which allows us to touch on multiple disciplines and grow together.

Art

Art sparks joy, interaction and inspiration. It is a bridge that allows us to engage with millions and tell our story.

Producing artwork that appeals to people’s taste and eye all around the world is incredible! It is craftsmanship and we devote ourselves to design every aspect with the same dedication - be it a character, an intuitive UI or a marketing ad.

With creativity, the sky’s the limit! We work hard from the seed of an idea to make it alive with our talented art team that is deepened in various specializations. We believe that a solid balance of innovative ideas, outstanding artwork and a multidisciplinary approach are the keys of our fun and colorful worlds we have created.

Customer Experience

We consider ourselves so lucky to have millions of active users that use our products on a daily basis. Our aspiration is to provide a user experience that hasn’t been seen before. While we are experts on our product, we also collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver the best possible support for any arising issue.

All our users are precious and their opinions are highly important to us, so our primary standard is to serve each user with the same care.

To reach even more people and create global communities, we work on social media pages to give a voice to our games. We develop concepts and design for social media, create and implement a strategy that grows products and social engagement.

Finance & Strategy

We believe that every company needs to have a strong backbone of Finance and Strategy to achieve long-term and sustainable success. We keep the highest level of transparency and efficiency in our financial infrastructure so we can build upon and make bold decisions on a whim. Our hands-on, detail-oriented and agile execution allows us to run a financial operation at a global scale. We work with top-notch experts in finance and law to ensure the highest standards are maintained.

The multifaceted aspects of finance are at the core of our daily operations. For example, while leading an IFRS audit, we at the same time negotiated a multi-million-dollar deal with the Strategy Team. This variety is the fun part of our work :)

HR

At Peak we believe in focused and autonomous teams that seek to make an impact. Now making an impact is not a very easy thing to do: it requires a team of stunning people.

Our aim is to find those stunning people, match them with the right role and empower them to succeed. We are constantly devising new ways to reach potential candidates. For example, we have created our own event series for university students which allows us to reach 1000+ undergraduates and graduates each year.
